This is another shoot undertaken with the Mamiya 645. I was getting the hang of how to use it, getting better at focusing and holding steady.
However, the “what” I wanted to accomplish with this shoot was too nebulous to yield anything thematically strong. I was still coasting on “bring a bunch of random props to an abandoned place and see what happens”. It would take a catalyst a half a year after this shoot to shift my thinking around the “what”, or, more importantly, the “why” of shooting.
